Easy, Dairy-free Overnight Oats

These easy, dairy-free overnight oats save me every morning. There are so many variations that can be done to oats, which makes this recipe so much fun!

These are such a great go-to breakfast for your busy week. I prepare 5 individual servings every Sunday and just leave them in the fridge to grab in the morning on my way to work.

The foundation for overnight oats is 1/2 of dry oats and 1 cup of very hot water. You simply pour both into a Tupperware storage container, stir, let it cool then place in the refrigerator until the next day (or even several days, these will easily last 5 or so days). That’s it!


To make it more fun, you can add all sorts of different treats, like:

  • 1/2 cup nut milk
  • Almonds
  • Walnuts
  • Shredded coconut
  • Coconut sugar
  • Blueberries
  • Strawberries
  • Raspberries
  • Chia seeds
  • Flax meal
  • Hemp seeds
  • Raisins

And the list goes on!

Right before you eat them, you may find that you want to add a bit more water. Stir it up and enjoy!
