Dairy-free Banana Nice Cream

I have a sweet tooth that would put anyone to shame. I can throw down chocolate brownies, chocolate cake or ice cream with the best of them.

But, I have been changing my ways lately. Instead of letting myself eat whatever I want, whenever I want, I am paying a lot more attention. What I have found is that I often overeat. Sweets especially.

So, I whipped up some chocolate, banana nice cream and I wanted to share it!

I divided this recipe in two and poured each serving into a two small Tupperware containers and stuck them in the fridge. It made for a perfect ready-to-go treat. Low-fat and low-calorie too! But stil sweet and you can’t beat that!


This low fat, low calorie and low sugar dessert is excellent to quench that sweet tooth! Cacao is such a great choice for a sugary chocolate substitute and frozen bananas create the perfect substitute for ice cream -- but without all the fat and cream!

  • 1 banana
  • 2 tsp cacao nibs
  • 1 Tbsp cacao powder
  • 2 Tbsp PB2 powder
  • 2 pitted dates


  1. Simply add all ingredients into a blender or simply mash and stir until blended.
  2. Divided in two and scoop into two separate freezer-compatible storage containers.
  3. Leave in freezer for at least two hours.
  4. Remove from and enjoy!
