I think sauces can make or break a meal. During my busy week, I find it most efficient to steam, cook, bake or broil my main dishes all with no seasoning. I then top it all with my favorite sauce. It’s the whole Buddha Bowl methodology. This is a time saver and still tastes great.

This sauce is easy to make and tastes great on top of, well, almost anything. I have topped quinoa, pasta, meat-free sausage, spinach, etc.

Creamy Lemon Scallion Dressing

A creamy, dairy-free dressing to top salads or main dishes.

  • 2 tsp garlic
  • 1 cup yogurt (I used cashew yogurt)
  • 1/2 cup ricotta (I used Kite Hill)
  • 2-3 scallions
  • 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 Tbs lemon juice
  • 2 tsp agave
  • 2 tsp tamari


  1. Toss into a food process and serve!
